The Australian Jockey Club Ltd executive team is responsible for the operation and implementation of the Club's business strategies.

Darren Pearce
Acting Chief Executive Officer |
Darren has been with the AJC Ltd since October 2005, beginning the process of modernizing the systems and management of the AJC Ltd as a business. Darren has worked across finance, racing and corporate services, conducts much of the corporate secretarial functions of the Club and has worked on key projects including World Youth Day 2008. Darren was Acting CEO at the outbreak of the Equine Influenza crisis. Utilising his extensive Accounting and Banking experience, Darren has been committed to providing a new level of corporate services to the Club. Darren has over 18 years experience in senior financial and corporate management roles, with extensive personal experience in racing.

Livia Bartoletti
Executive Director, Legal Affairs |
Livia has over 10 years senior legal experience specialising in media, technology and entertainment law, both in-house and with top Sydney law firm, Freehills. Having spent many years as an in-house counsel, Livia has the perfect balance of legal and general commercial skills to understand the commercial imperatives essential to take the AJC Ltd into the future. Livia began her career in construction law, before studying for her Masters Degree in media and entertainment law.

Lynell Peck
Executive Director - Events, Hospitality and Membership |
Lynell has 14 years senior management experience with the Australian Jockey Club, responsible for the vital hospitality & events department. Lynell has been the ‘face’ of the AJC’s front of house team for Club members and guests. Prior to the AJC, Lynell held senior food and beverage management roles with a range of 5 star hotels; the Park Lane Hotel (now Sheraton on the Park) and before this she worked for ten years with the Regent Hotel group.

Cameron Williams
Head of Strategic Planning |
Cameron joins the AJC as the Head of Strategic Planning. Cameron has a broad set of experiences in asset management, capital transactions and business planning and strategy. Cameron previously worked for Dexus Property Group and Goodman Group in Australia and Singapore. Cameron has a degree in Land Economics from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Post Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and Investment Analysis from the Financial Services Institute of Australia.

Anne Simic
Head of Culture, Employee Relations and OHS |
Anne joins the AJC as the Head of Culture, Employee Relations and OHS after more than 20 years in the Human Resources field for some of Australia’s major companies including Coles/Myer, Panasonic and Qantas.. Anne is a senior business professional who has demonstrated success in creating realistic, practical human resource strategies and programmes to support business needs and drive organisational performance. Anne is an experienced professional in both general and specialist human resources with a strong commercial business focus, derived from a number of opportunities in operational roles. Anne was most recently running her own business and prior to that her last major Human Resources role was that of Head of People for Qantas Airlines.

Bettina Brown
Head of Marketing & Sponsorship |
Bettina Brown joined the AJC in January 2009 and has 15 years marketing experience – primarily in event promotion. Her previous role as General Manager Marketing – Promotions, for David Jones saw Bettina forge a strong relationship with the AJC as a sponsor prior to joining the team. Before her David Jones role Bettina worked on various large scale event projects as a freelancer. Previous to that she spent 5 years with working with Sales Pursuit representing some of the best public speakers and trainers in the world including General Norman Schwarzkopf and Mikhail Gorbechev.
