David Jones Australian Derby Day
2010 Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival gets underway with David Jones Australian Derby Day.
Without doubt the feature race of the day will be the Group 1 David Jones AJC Australian Derby (2400m) for three year olds with $1.3m in prize money on offer.
A top day of racing will also include the Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) and Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) along with the Group 2 Chairman’s Handicap (2600m), Sapphire Stakes (1200m) and the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m).
With over $2,725,000 in prize money up for grabs the 2010 Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival is sure to start with a bang.
Apart from a fantastic racing line up on David Jones Australian Derby Day it also features the first day of the Fashions on the Field contest, the categories of Best Dressed Female and Male will be the hotly sought after crown, with thousands of dollars worth of prizes to be won.

Emirates Doncaster Day
The eyes of Australia’s sporting fans will turn to Sydney as the 2010 Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival continues with the running of the Group 1 Emirates Doncaster Mile (1600m).
With $1.5million dollars in prize money on offer for the Emirates Doncaster Mile alone it will be hotly contested race over Royal Randwick’s famous mile.
It’s sure to be a bumper raceday with the Group 1 Patinack Farm AJC Oaks (2400m) and The Galaxy (1100m) and the Group 3 South Pacific Classic (1400m).
One of Sydney’s biggest sporting events of the year, the race day features prize money of over $2,655,000.
Day two of the Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival also features another day in the fashion stakes with Best Dressed Couple and Best Millinery awards up for grabs in the Fashions on the Field competition, a day not to be missed.

Schweppes Sydney Cup Day
The 2010 Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival wraps up with four Group 1 races and over $1,825,000 in prize money on offer.
The highlight of the day will be the running of the Schweppes Sydney Cup (3200m), Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m), Champagne Stakes (1600m) and the All Aged Stakes (1400m).
Schweppes Sydney Cup is also Family Day at Royal Randwick. The Rose Garden will be transformed into a fun filled children’s carnival including amazing rides and games. And once again the Kids Fashions on the Field for boys and girls under 13 will be a part of the festivities.
