The Australian Jockey Club at Royal Randwick defended its 2008 title as the ‘Function / Convention Centre Caterer of the Year’ with the addition of the 2009 accolade to its portfolio at last night’s 'NSW Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence' Dinner in Sydney.
Competing against reputable function centres from across the state, the back to back win was secured in the midst the buzz and activity of Spring Carnival celebrations at Royal Randwick.
To receive this award, in spite of the challenges with the global financial crisis and our existing $250M Master Plan development to provide improved facilities, is a real credit to the professionalism and dedication of the team.
