Royal Randwick & Warwick Farm

Members' Events are held at both Royal Randwick Racecourse and Warwick Farm Racecourse.

Throughout the season the Australian Jockey Club hosts a variety of event’s for Members and their guests, ranging from; cocktail parties, wine luncheons, local and international tours, golf days and workshops.

Following on from the success of our 2009 wine appreciation luncheons, the Australian Jockey Club is proud to announce the next race day luncheon in the series for our Members’ and their guests to enjoy a truly fine dining experience.

In association with one of Australia’s oldest and most famous wineries, Penfolds, AJC Members and their guests are invited to an unforgettable day of fine food, outstanding wine and great racing all set amongst the impressive surrounds of the Committee Dining Room.

Our Executive Chef, George Mullen has tailor-made the menu which consists of; canapés on arrival, three course luncheon and afternoon tea that will be perfectly matched with selected wines from Penfolds.

Ladies Day at Wyong Race Club

Come and join in all the fun of Ladies Day at Wyong Race Club on the first day of their Spring Carnival!

Day package includes: Return coach from Royal Randwick to Wyong Race Club, racecourse admission, Members’ ticketing and reserved seating, glass of sparkling wine on arrival, 2 course buffet luncheon in the Members’ Murray Doyle Lounge including coffee and tea, race book for each guest, fashions on the field, fashion parades, roving jazz bands and entertainment!

Brunch at the Stables

Members and their guests are invited to join us for Brunch at Anthony Cummings Racing Stables in High Street Randwick.  Come and watch Anthony parade some of the brightest stars of Spring whist enjoying a delightful brunch in the leafy surrounds of the stables.   Numbers are strictly limited to 60 guests.

Early Morning Trackwork Breakfast

Come along and watch all the stars of the Spring Carnival go through their paces at Royal Randwick.  Members and their guests have the opportunity to take in the atmosphere of early morning trackwork in the week leading into the George Main Stakes.  A light breakfast will be provided in the infield.  Parking will be available via the main drive, Alison Road.

Members and their guests complimentary - RSVP’s are essential.

An Evening with Max Presnell and Ken Callander

Continuing on with the successful “An evening with…” series, Members and their guests are invited to attend an evening with great racing legends Max Presnell and Ken Callander, interviewed by Richard Callander.  The evening will commence at 6.00pm in the Panorama Room with cocktail food and beverages provided.  This will be an evening full of wonderful racing tales and plenty of laughs.  Book early to avoid disappointment as numbers are strictly limited.

AJC Young Members (under the age of 40) and their guests are invited to a punting pointers workshop and morning tea on the morning of George Main Stakes day, the first day of our Spring Carnival.  The presentation commences at 11.00am in the Owners Lounge, where prominent racing journalists Ken Callander and Brent Zerafa will take the guess work out of the art of punting.
